My role
Senior Android Developer (Sep 2023 — present, remote Abu Dhabi team). Own payment layer, contribute across 40+ Gradle feature modules, and ship brand configurators on the vendor-app framework.
Platform scope
- Marketplace app (COFE) — multi-brand discovery, cross-brand rewards, delivery and drive-thru flows.
- White-label brands — Barns, Kyan, Caribou, FiLLi, Pret, Darat Al Qahwa, Barn's X, 20 Grams and more (Barns case study).
- Commerce features — cart, checkout, order tracking, auto-renewing subscriptions, wallet top-up, referrals, coupons, surge pricing.
Technical stack
- Kotlin 2.0, Jetpack Compose, MVI, Koin, Apollo GraphQL (per brand), SQLDelight with migrations, OkHttp REST.
- Payments: Tap GoSell, Checkout.com Frames, Google Pay, regional wallets, Tabby BNPL (details).
- Analytics: CleverTap, AppsFlyer, Adjust, Emarsys, Firebase, Facebook, custom CRM — each behind EventDataParser.
Outcomes
- 800K+ combined installs across platform apps under my tenure on the codebase.
